Step 1: Apply for
Membership
- If you don't have an ICCU account you will need to open
one before you make the switch.
Step 2: Let Us Help You Switch Your Automatic Payments
- Let us sit down with you for a couple minutes and we can make the
change to ICCU easy! If you have direct deposit or payroll deduction
set up with your current financial institution, we can help you make the switch in no time.
Also, if you have other automatic payments or withdrawals set-up, such
as credit cards, insurance and utility payments, we can simplify that
switch as well.
Step 3: Close Your Old Account
- Closure
Checklist - Before closing your existing account, review the checklist and
make sure you've completed the necessary steps.
- Letter of
Closure - Once your direct deposits begin and any outstanding checks have
cleared your old account, submit the letter of closure form to your old
financial institution.

Making the Switch (FAQ's)
Q. Can ICCU help me make the switch?
A. Our people are here to help you! Visit a local ICCU store,
come sit down with us for a couple of minutes, and we can help you make
the switch. We can help you change any direct deposits and automatic
payments (ACH) from your old account(s) over to your new account(s).
Q. What information will I need to know to make the
switch?
A. You will need to know the following:
- Your current
account number where you are transferring funds from.
- Name, Address,
Account Number of Direct Deposit, and Auto-Payment (ACH) companies that you are
currently using.
Q. Won't it be a hassle to switch my direct deposits and automatic
payments?
A. Not at all. We'll do everything we can for you to make
the process easy.
