ICCU team members donating $75

Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU) has a long tradition of being a good neighbor. We understand the importance of giving back to the communities we live and work in.

During the first twelve days of December, we ran a special promotion where new ICCU members received $75, and, for every new membership opened, we donated $75 to the local United Way chapters of Idaho.

Donations made to the United Way on behalf of these new members totaled $75,000 statewide! The money was divvied up between the local United Ways within Idaho Central’s field of membership.

The United Way of Southeastern Idaho received $10,000, the United Way of Treasure Valley received $40,000, the United Way of South Central Idaho received $10,000, the United Way of Idaho Falls & Bonneville County received $10,000, and the United Way of Kootenai County received $5,000.

“This donation from Idaho Central Credit Union will help change the odds for local children, individuals and families across the state,” said United Way of Treasure Valley CEO and President Nora Carpenter. “At United Way, we are thrilled to partner with Idaho Central Credit Union to make a difference in our communities.”

Idaho Central Credit Union President, Kent Oram, says, “This donation to the United Way is a way for us to give back to nonprofits that do so much to make a difference to those in need, during a time of the year when many are suffering.  Thank you for all you do to make our communities better places to live and work.”
