The Lillian Vallely School is an elementary day school serving Native American children who live on the Fort Hall Reservation in Southeastern Idaho. Recently the school’s refrigerator completely stopped working. Because of the high volume of food and milk needed to be stored for students, this refrigerator is extremely important. The Blackfoot Food Pantry heard of their dilemma and generously offered to sell the school one of their commercial refrigerators at a discounted price of $2,000 which was approximately a $1,500 savings. After ICCU Credit Union was contacted, we proudly made the $2,000 donation to the school so they could purchase the refrigerator in time for the beginning of the school year.
