CHUBBUCK, Idaho (April 6, 2026) – ICCU has a long tradition of supporting the communities in which its members live and work, and each spring provides a fresh opportunity to make a difference through sponsoring and promoting statewide “give” campaigns. The credit union is once again the presenting sponsor of Idaho Gives, continuing a tradition since the fundraiser’s 2013 launch. Additionally, ICCU is encouraging its employees, referred to as the Green Team, to participate in Washington Gives and Arizona Gives, reflecting its widening presence across these markets.

“Nonprofits in our communities do critical work to address urgent needs, and we are honored to support its fundraising efforts by raising awareness of statewide initiatives among our teams and our members,” said Brenda Worrell, ICCU CEO. “I encourage everyone to give what they can to an organization that resonates with them. We’re excited to watch participating nonprofits channel their resources and energies to making our communities better places to be.”

To encourage its teams to participate in the fundraisers, ICCU offers an incentive. ICCU will match donations made by their team members. Staff have discretion to support any nonprofit registered with Idaho Gives, Washington Gives, and Arizona Gives during their annual, intensive fundraising push.

ICCU has supported the Idaho Gives campaign since its inception, serving as the presenting sponsor of the multi-day fundraising drive. From May 4-7 this year, donors can visit IdahoGives.org and search the platform for an Idaho nonprofit to support. The campaign allows for early and late donations, with a wider window to make a gift available April 14 through May 10. Nonprofits must register to appear on the platform, and registration closes April 14. Idaho Gives is a program of the Idaho Community Foundation and has raised more than $33 million for local nonprofits since 2013.

With its expansion to Washington and Arizona, ICCU is promoting giving campaigns in both states among staff and members in those states. The credit union has supported Washington Gives since 2023, and its GiveBIG 2026 campaign focuses on one big day of giving: Tuesday, May 5. Nonprofits must register no later than May 3 to participate, and registering early is encouraged, as the GiveBIG 2026 platform begins accepting donations April 28. Last year, the single-day event raised $9.3 million for 1,300 organizations.

This year marks ICCU’s inaugural year supporting Arizona Gives, an initiative of AZ Impact for Good. While the main push for donations is on Arizona Gives Day, April 7, early giving has already begun, and hundreds of nonprofits are participating. Overall, Arizona Gives has raised more than $51 million since 2013, benefitting over 2,000 nonprofits across the state.

In addition to providing financial support to local nonprofits, ICCU lends time and talent to address community needs. In 2025 alone, ICCU team members, referred to as the “Green Team,” volunteered more than 42,000 hours in their local communities. Additionally, ICCU provided over 2,800 hours of financial education to high school students across its footprint and participated in more than 2,500 community events.
