Get The Protection You Deserve

What is an overdraft? An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, but we pay it anyway. ICCU can cover your overdrafts in two different ways. We have standard overdraft protection that comes with your account. We also offer additional overdraft protection, such as a link to a savings account or line of credit, which may be less expensive than our standard overdraft protection.

You deserve the best, so we offer the best. Check out just a few benefits of overdraft protection:

  • Added Security – May provide funds when you need money or pay unexpected expenses
  • Offers Convenience – May provide uninterrupted coverage for debit card purchases when you
    lack sufficient funds
  • Eliminates Embarrassment – Helps avoid the awkwardness of a merchant declining your
    transaction

When opening a checking account with ICCU, you’ll be asked to choose your preferred overdraft options—including whether you’d like ICCU to authorize and cover overdrafts on ATM and everyday debit card transactions. Enrolling in our overdraft program is free and fees only apply if you use the service.
